The Ashford Leisure Trust Talented Athlete Programme now in its eigth year is a bursary programme for talented athletes and uses the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to provide a lasting legacy for athletes living in Ashford. This year Ashford Leisure Trust is supporting 15 local talented sportsmen and women of varying ages from a wide range of sports.
The Trust is delighted to continue its partnership with Podplus Ltd a local sports shop and injury clinic located at the Julie Rose Stadium which will see each athlete receive additional benefits to include discount of products and services at Podplus plus full access to their clinical and shop team.
This scheme is open to talented athletes of all ages and a full list of the Talented Athletes selected for the 2019/20 Programme is detailed below:

The athletes were presented their awards by Steve Brown, Paralympian and TV presenter and the Worshipful Mayor of Ashford Cllr Jenny Webb.
