The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is a two stage course and is usually the minimum requirement for all lifeguards who want to work in swimming pools. The courses include the training and assessment of both units and includes First Aid at Work, AED (Defib) and Anaphylaxis. Candidates must be over 16 at the start of the course, be available for the whole week and able to meet the following criteria:
Jump or dive into deep water, swim 40m in 65 seconds, tread water for 30 seconds and surface dive to a depth of 1.8m.
A swim test will be required prior to any booking being accepted.
Dates for our next course are as follows:
Monday 8th April to Friday 12th April 08.00 - 17.30
Saturday 13th April: 09:00 - 13:00 (EXAM)
Cost: £325 per person
