Full Time and Part Time Recreation Assistant

We have a full time Recreation Assistant position and part time shifts available with immediate effect. Both positions are based on an average number of hours per week, which includes early mornings, evenings and weekends so flexibility is essential.

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic people to join our team. You must be adaptable, enjoy working with the public and have a real appreciation of the importance of customer care.
You must have an interest in sports and leisure to assist the operations section in the smooth running of the centre.

Part Time Swimming Teacher

Ashford Leisure Trust is looking to appoint a part time a Swimming Teacher to deliver high quality coaching as part of our successful swimming lesson programme. Teachers are responsible for designing, planning and delivering a range of high quality sessions in line with the Amateur Swimming Association.

Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to be responsible for the day to day facilities management of Ashford Leisure Trust facilities delivering a high level of maintenance and facility presentation in compliance with contract requirements. You will also be responsible for all health and safety aspects for the trust and maintain a comprehensive quality procedure system. You will need to have very high standards both personally and professionally and be comfortable managing staff and controlling budgets. This position is full time and you will need to be flexible according to the needs of the business.

Part-Time Receptionist

You must enjoy working with the public and possess excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities will include customer service,  answering the phone, taking bookings and cash handling. You will need to be confident with excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable, driven and have a real appreciation of the required standards of customer care. You must be able to work under pressure in a busy environment; therefore similar experience in a similar role is desirable. Additional hours may be available to cover sickness and holiday periods.

Membership Sales Advisor

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in a similar role and have an excellent understanding of the sales process.  You will need to be confident with outstanding interpersonal skills, adaptable, driven and have a real appreciation of the required standards to achieve sales targets.

Children’s Holiday Activity Club Supervisors and Holiday Activity Club Leaders

The holiday club activities at the Stour Centre and Julie Rose Stadium are fun and exciting school holiday play schemes, with opportunities to get messy in the arts and crafts area, get healthy out on the sports field, wet in the swimming pool and generally have loads of fun. The best bit of all is that you can get paid for the experience.

Athletics Coaches – Term Time only

Ashford Leisure Trust is looking to appoint athletics coaches to deliver high quality athletics and multi-skill coaching as part of our successful athletics programme. Coaches will be responsible for designing, planning and delivering a range of high quality sessions in a range of multi-skill and athletics activities that are accessible to all young people.

Fitness Manager

We are looking for a highly self-motivated experienced Fitness Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the effective and smooth operational management of the fitness suite at the Stour Centre, to manage the health and fitness group exercise programme and to develop and promote the services provided within these areas to meet customer needs.

Sales and Marketing Manager

Ashford Leisure Trust is looking for an experienced and effective Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.  The successful candidate will help move the business forward, raise the profile of the Trust and also be commercially aware, ideally within the leisure industry. The ideal candidate needs to have sales experience, ability to coach and manage the sales team and develop innovative ways to grow the membership base throughout all of the Trust facilities.
